THE organisers of the Marymass festival are appealing to the public to support the annual event.

A large part of the history of Irvine, Marymass events takes place across several weeks during August.

The event is organised completely by volunteers who are now asking for locals to get behind them to make sure 2024's proceedings are just as good as years gone by.

They are pleading for donations to be made to support the organising committee in their efforts as they revealed the true cost of Marymass.
