A popular Stewarton fish and chip shop has changed its name as it moves under new ownership.
The Fry Inn, formerly Pioli's, will now be known as the Stewarton Captains Chippy under its new owners.
The premises, in the town's Lainshaw Street, is currently being renovated, and is expected to reopen soon.
A spokesperson said: "Fry Inn has closed for good. The shop is under new ownership. Stewarton Captains will be opening doors soon to the public after some refurb and improvements."
