An extra special customer was first in line as the new Woody's ice cream parlour opened in Stewarton.
The Mauchline business opened the doors to its shop in the town's Main Street on Wednesday, with hungry locals rushing to get a taste.
Its owners have now revealed that the first in line for a sweet treat was their own dad, who ordered a "large vanilla 99".
The business also thanked customers for their support on its opening day.
A spokesperson said: "Thank you so so much to each and every one of you guys who visited us today and for all the good luck wishes
"We opened the door to a queue and the first person standing in it and first customer today was our Dad
"Of course out of the full menu he ordered a “large vanilla 99". See you guys tomorrow 1pm to 9pm for day two."
